The Role:

As a Community Care Assistant, you will provide vital care services to elderly and vulnerable people in and around Harrogate. You will buzz around Harrogate representing Harrogate Neighbours in the community, supporting our Clients to live independently in their own homes and brightening their days. A typical day in the life of a Community Care Assistant includes providing personal care, medication management, light domestic duties, meal preparation, shopping, and most importantly, companionship.

You will be working between the hours of 7.30am-2.00pm OR 4.00pm-9.00pm. We also ask candidates to work every other weekend to fulfil the needs of our clients and residents.

What we need you to bring to our community:

You don’t need to have previous experience or qualifications in care, what is truly important is that you are passionate, compassionate, and motivated and want to make a real difference to people living within your community.

If you have these qualities, we can help you with the rest. We will provide comprehensive training and shadowing, working to nurture your skills to prepare you for this brilliant opportunity.

These roles can be set days - we are happy to discuss hours at your interview.

What we are looking for:

· Good people skills with a caring and compassionate nature

· A positive, professional, and proactive approach

· To be aligned to our Visons and Values.

· A valid UK driving license (with Business Car Insurance)

· Access to your own vehicle and willingness to drive around Harrogate District.

· Minimum of 18 years of age

· 1 year of care experience desired, but not essential – we provide full in-house training

Community Care Assistants benefits:
